Creating the Perfect Summer Yukata for Smart Dolls: A Beginner’s Guide

The Yukata is similar to a kimono but more casual. It’s made from lighter, colorful, vibrant cotton or linen fabrics and is usually worn in summer, especially in ryokan (Japanese inns). Traditionally, people wear it with an obi (a wide belt)

I made this Yukata using Danny Choo’s pattern. Like all his patterns, it fits the Smart Doll perfectly. I also resized the pattern to fit the Pear Smart Doll.

This project is excellent for beginner sewists because it has few pieces and straight seams.
